Last Thursday Meteors were the latest visitors to ITB for another Div 1 league clash. This game turned out to be a cracker with a fantastic exibition of 3 pt shooting by both teams. In the first 2 quarters the sides exchanged basket for basket. Tridents ended up with a narow half time lead. the 3rd quarter continued in the same vein until another 3pt blitz from Helena and Sarah saw Tridents stretch the lead. The girls played some greatt defence and some fantastic offence which eventually saw them win out with a scoreline of 80pts to 71pts. Next up for our Div 1 team is UCD away next Wednesday which promises to be another tough game. Once again thank you to Anne and Ron for doing score and time and thanks to all who came to support
