What a start for Tridents in November! We had a great start to the week when the U-17 girls beat Tolka by a convincing 72-24 score line. Sunday saw the result of the week when our newly formed under 12 girls played their first ever game under the guidance of Allison and Christine Kelly away to Mercy, Coolock. The girls put in a brilliant display and ran out deserving winners with a 25-12 victory. Well done girls. On Monday the good week continued when our senior div 1 team won a hard fought victory over Mercy by 57 pts to 48. This win keeps the girls on top of the div 1 table. Wednesday was the next outing for a Tridents team when the div 5 senior ladies took on Northside Nets in st Pat’s. The girls knew that a victory would see them stay top of their league with 3 wins and 1 loss. The team put in a great performance and came away with a 48-39 win. So, all in all, it’s been a very good week and to cap it off we have our fund raising quiz night in “The Carpenter” this Friday, 7th November from 8.30.
